Atang Sharon Arnold
Maun, Botswana
Atang L.S Arnold, known as “Sharon Atang” on stage, is a Wildlife Photographer,Visual and Performing artist based in Maun. Completed her Ass.Degree in Creative Multimedia at Limkokwing University of Creative Arts and Technology.
Passionate about conservation and actively aware of the environment,she has worked with Conservation International (CI), SAREP (USAid),SPANA, Local Safari Companies producing short impact films.
As a Board member and Artist in the Okavango Artist Association (O.A.A) based in Maun, she has exhibited her paintings at ;Thapong Visual Arts 2014 (TAYA), Tulipamwe International Artists Workshop in Namibia (2018)
Maun International Arts Festival (M.I.A.F) hosted annually and OAA annual members exhibition 2016-18. She is regional winner of an annual competition-Presidents Day Competitions-in the Photography section-2018.
Atang has been involved with Photography workshops as a Technical Assistant (2017) for the Botswana Society of the Arts and Botswana Deaf Association and produced a book.
