I was born in 1987 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
I took up photography in 2004, and my first press works were published in 2009. Since then I have worked exclusively in documentary photography and photojournalism for newspapers, magazines and international agencies.
I have been a staff member of the Uruguayan print media Caras & Caretas (2010-2012), Brecha (2012-213), La República (2013-2014), Lento (2013-2016) and La Diaria (2014-2016). I am a member of adhoc, a photographers' cooperative, since 2013.
I have collaborated with international agencies AFP, EFE, Getty Images and Anadolu. My work has been published in several international media.
I have given different seminars and courses. I directed a photography workshop while travelling in Cuba along with 33 Uruguayan photographers and students of photography.
I have served as juror for the 2016 Competitive Funds for Culture (Fondos Concursables de Cultura) of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay, in the photography area.
