Sri Loganathan Velmurugan

Sri Loganathan is a Journalism graduate from Madras Christian College. His interest in Photojournalism began at the age of 14 when he was in 9th STD. He got inspired by reading the pictures in daily newspapers and with this inspiration he learned a lot about the challenges and future in photojournalism at a young age itself.
After his schooling, he entered Madras Christian College for his Bachelor's degree in Journalism. With his knowledge in photography, he joined as an intern with Citizen Matters as a content creator during his semester holidays and he successfully contributed 8 articles for them.
Out of his personal interest, he captures a lot of events in and around his locality. He has also published his works in The Hindu Tamil newspaper and other websites. He is also a founding member of Photo Meet Chennai, a Tamil Nadu based photo community that conducts photo walks and various photography-related activities in Tamilnadu. He has also shared his work with Thalam Foundation, Nisii India, and so on. His works are widely appreciated and exhibited in photo exhibitions too. He has worked with Chennai Photo Biennale, as a photo mentor where he taught the basics of photography to the school kids.
He keeps himself busy searching for unique and storytelling frames. He is currently working on his personal projects. He is currently freelancing for International Photo Agencies.
