Susan Stocker grew up in Miami Beach and began her photojournalism career as a staff photographer/videographer at the South Florida Sun Sentinel where she dedicated herself to covering her community for 35 years. As a senior staff photographer she covered news, business, food, sports, people profiles and lifestyle stories. She has been recognized by the Pictures of the Year competition, the National Press Photographers Association, the Society of Newspaper Design and the Florida Press Club.
