I am an experienced self shooting self editing television journalist working in an international news environment for over 20 years. I was born in Italy, lived and studied in the UK and have been a resident of France for the past 13 years. After a 4 year stint as a top manager with an international news channel dealing with important sponsors and designing formats for current affair programmes which bring in great revenues, I felt my film maker soul kicking inside, asking for more space. That is why I have moved to New Delhi, India, a country I an fond of. Here I work as a film maker and television consultant.
Work Experience
- INDIA Since August 2014 I moved to New Delhi. I have worked as outreach producer for the documentary “India’s Daughter”, for which I designed the whole outreach campaign, found partners and sponsors, navigated the whole spectrum of the charities and institutions involved in women and girls rights, and tailored the film brand to a specific audience so that the documentary could be used as a tool for change. Also from India I have directed and produced 3 films for Girls in Technology initiatives of the UN (ITU). I regularly contribute to RAI 3, Italian television, with filmed reports from India and Pakistan. I produce corporate and communication video for the UN and major NGOs. I have incorporated a company in India, www.storyboard.co.in
