Sujanya Das

Sujanya Das (1991) is a Kolkata born Photographer. He is a Bachelor in Media Science with a minor in Photography from West Bengal University of Technology, India. During his graduation, Sujanya has served Emaho Magazine India as an editorial intern. He started his career in Photography as a trainee at Barcroft Media in New Delhi.
After Barcroft, he took a headlong plunge into freelance visual journalism.
Sujanya's work mostly ranges between Human Interest and Feature Story category. Though he is keenly interested in editorial/documentary/contemporary photography, Sujanya has also done modern age shortform documentary & corporate videos. At present, he is the Picture Editor of NEWSLIONS, an upstart international press agency based in Chennai, India.
His work has been published in Aljazeera, The Guardian, Daily Mail, MSN, The Caravan, The Sun, Daily Mirror, Vice News, The Hindu, Firstpost.
