Sumit Bhattacharya
Balurghat, West Bengal, India
Sumit Bhattacharya (b. 1994, Balurghat) is a visual storyteller compelled by an internal rhythm, translating memory and emotion into images. His narrative often emerges from deeply personal connections, where the visual becomes a language for the unspoken and the intimate.
Growing up in a small town in West Bengal shaped his sensitivity to the unnoticed details of ordinary moments - the silences, the in-betweens, the fleeting gestures that often hold the most meaning. He worked as a Gallery Coordinator - Production, Logistics & Digital Media at Shrine Empire, Delhi.
