Svet Jacqueline started her career shooting film and developing in a darkroom. Her love for the medium grew and she received a B.S. in Photojournalism from Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Communications. Baltimore raised, she moved to Los Angeles in 2016, working as a freelance photographer and journalist covering social and political issues. She served as the photo editor for CurateLA covering arts and culture in Los Angeles which lead to her six-month solo exhibition SHE /. This year, after releasing her first book, “100 Days of Protest” about the BLM Movement in Los Angeles, her focus has been on documenting immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. Currently self-represented and available for new assignments.
