Taro Karibe(b.1988) received a Bachelor of Psychology at Japan's college.
After his graduation in 2012, he started working for a financial institution. At the same time, he started a career as a photographer in Tokyo. He covers portraits, sports event, entertainment, featured documentary, hard-news and so on.
His works have been published internationally by editorial clients such as International New York Times, The New York Times, WIRED, The Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal, Getty Images, Forbes Japan, Bloomberg, The guardian, CNN, NBC News, Yahoo! JAPAN News, Huffington post, CBS news, BuzzFeed and so on.
Major public/ corporate clients include; Japan government, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Philips, Airbnb, Champion, Fujitsu and so on.
He also works as a fixer and translator(EN) for foreign medias and corporates.
