Tyler is a Director of Photography and RED Helium owner based in Templeton, CA located between San Francisco and Los Angeles. His work is comprised of narrative and documentary features and short films, as well as television, web and commercial productions.
His feature documentary film "Olompali: A Hippie Odyssey" with Director Gregg Gibbs was an official selection at DocLands Film Festival 2018, available on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and other streaming services. He recently wrapped principal photography, with Director Gregg Gibbs, on another feature documentary film “The Haunted Painting.”
His recent show work is with the Netflix series “Our Planet” as a 1st AC and Camera Operator on episode 8 “Forests” shooting forest burn areas and regrowth time lapse sequences.
Tyler is currently working as an Assistant Cinematographer with National Geographic and is available for hire. He works as a Cinematographer / Director of Photography and Camera Operator.
