Temilade Adelaja is a documentary photographer based in Lagos, Nigeria; her work is inspired by a passion to explore life and humanity, and also preserve memories.
Temilade began actively working in photography in 2015, exploring street documentary and creative twists to event photography. She has undergone trainings such as Canon storytelling masterclass, Unabashed Africa internship and The Now Collectives conference. She has been on assignment with a number of organizations. To mention a few, Anadolu Agency, ACE charity, Slum2school Africa, Transcorp Hilton, ZMB Homes etc. Currently, she is a photojournalist reporting for Reuters news agency.
She had her first exhibition as a Canon alumni in 2018 at the African Artist’s foundation gallery, Lagos, Nigeria.
