Tereza Cervenova

Tereza Červeňová (born in 1991 in Slovakia) is a photographic artist living and working in London, UK. After working in the fashion industry she moved to London in 2011 and started studying Fine Art at Middlesex University. After a short while she recognised that the medium she feels the most fluent in is photography and decided to transfer to a BA Hons Degree in Photography from which she graduated in 2014.
After graduating Tereza started working as a freelance photographer and her work has been published in the editorial media such as the FT Weekend Magazine, The Telegraph Magazine, The New Yorker and PORT Magazine. Tereza was the recipient of the John Kobal New Work Award in 2015, D&AD New Blood Yellow Pencil in 2014 and 5 Under 30 – Young Photographers’ Award in 2013. Her nominations include the MACK First Book Award, Magnum Graduate Photographers Award and the World Photography Organisation – Student Focus Award. Her work has been exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery in London, National Galleries of Scotland, Royal Festival Hall and Daniel Blau Gallery among others.
