I am an award-winning photojournalist based in Oxford, Miss., available for editorial, sports and portrait photography assignments.
I am currently finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Spanish at the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, I worked for The Daily Mississippian, the student newspaper, as a photographer, photo editor and multimedia editor. During this time, I also worked with several depth reporting projects, one of which was awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Journalism Award.
I have been working as a photographer since 2008. I worked as the photographer for The Messenger in Troy, Ala., for four years. While at The Messenger, I won several awards in the state APME newspaper contest, including First Place Photography Portfolio for the 2011 contest year.
In June 2015, I began my current position as a Staff Photographer at The University of Mississippi.
