Thom Pierce is a documentary, portrait and editorial photographer based in Cape Town. He is originally from the UK and has lived in South Africa since 2009. His personal work explores the line between art and documentary photography. A collection of his work is in the permanent collection of the South African National Gallery. He has been published in The Guardian, Sunday Times, Times, Rapport, Mail & Guardian, Nature Journal, NPR online as well as many books & magazines . His work has featured heavily as part of several human rights campaigns.
