He has reported from 30 countries and won awards for covering Haiti’s earthquake, Sri Lanka’s civil war and human rights abuses in Iran. His work has appeared on Al Jazeera, Foreign Policy, Fox News, France 24, CBC, CBS News, dpa, RTÉ, The Times, The National, Monocle and APTN. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Sussex University and a postgraduate diploma in journalism.
