Timoteo was born in Seattle and began his working career as an Alaska fisherman at age sixteen. After graduating from art school in 1989 he has covered crisis and conflict worldwide. Recently he has worked in South Sudan with actors and activists George Clooney and Mia Farrow, and has produced a number of films and feature photography projects in Africa.
He is represented by Ricco Maresca Gallery in New York.
Timoteo is currently based in New York, working in Eastern/Southern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
