Tine Bek Hansen
Tine Bek grew up in Denmark.
Bek Works within the field of photography and moving image. She works primarily on personal project and commissions alongside a freelance photography career.
She moved to Glasgow to study Fine Art Photography at Glasgow School of Art continuing on to pursuing a postgraduate degree in 2015.
Recent exhibitions include Studio Pavilion at House For an Art Lover during Glasgow International (2018), Carlsberg City gallery, part of Copenhagen Photo Festival (solo) (2018), Antology series at Fotogalleriet, Oslo (solo)(2017), Streetlevel Photoworks, Glasgow (2016), Gallery 9b, Portland, US (2016) Aperture Summer Show, New York (2015)
Bek has produced a number of artist solo publications, alongside creating her own publishing house in 2015, Earth Saga Press, publishing group publications focused especially on identity, gender and photography.
From 2016-18 she co-ran and curated Glasgow gallery 16 Nicholson Street.
Bek has been a guest teacher at Glasgow School of Art, and is currently employed by Stills gallery in Edinburgh as an educator.
