Tine Poppe is a Norwegian freelance photographer and graphic designer working with commercial, editorial, documentary and art photography. Currently and for the last eight years working as a freelance photographer, doing assignments for publishing and other companies, advertising & design agencies, humanitarian aid and magazines. Previous to going independent, employed for a number of years as graphic designer in advertising, design and publishing. Tine takes a special interest in social awareness, people and nature photography.

Around 3000 rejected and "non-returnable" asylum seekers live in Norwegian asylum reception centres. They remain in an indefinite limbo situation for several years, without permission to work, no right to essential medical care and no possibility to leave for another country.
