John Tyler Curtis
Los Angeles, CA, United States
John Tyler Curtis aka @tyliner is an editorial and cultural photographer based out of Los Angeles and Chicago.
Tyler attended Indiana University pursuing his BFA in Painting and minor in Theatre.
His focus is always on delivering stunning imagery in fashion, music and branding for the most discerning of major clients. His flexibility and diversity has helped him compose a roster of incredible opportunities like touring the world with Manchester United, (the largest sports franchise in the universe), to avant garde lookbooks for Gallery Aesthete and photographing festivals across the country for Fender USA.
In 2013, Intel and Vice Magazine's Creator's Project selected Tyler as a key speaker and presenter for their Ultrabook campaign, showcasing the marriage of art and technology in his work and daily life.
Tyliner is also the creator and operator of darkroom demons - a cutting edge nightlife photoblog, which traveled around the world capturing the best in parties, music, celebs and fashion. Acura selected Demons as one of the country's top cultural photographers part of their "Capture the Night" campaign and traveling gallery show in 2008. Since then, Demons has been synonymous to its compatriots in NY and LA in nightlife and parties.
Someday in the future, Tyler hopes to paint a picture of a robot Karl Lagerfeld while on 4K TV.
