There is stillness in motion. A few seconds when everything is still, being. Capturing that means preserving it, that moment of calm and the sanctity of it.
Even in the busiest of markets and loudest of cities, a photo will forever be still, giving you the chance to observe and slowly take it in. Every detail, every expression, every fragment of meaning. Freezing the present interests me a lot because that split second carries so much in just one a click.
This is what I do. Taking the worth they equate to a thousand words and presenting it to you in a frame. Creating memories in real time, of real places with real people and their emotions.
This is what being a photographer means to me. It is a calling to be aware to and of the world around us, documenting the unfiltered, genuine & raw interactions are happening all around. As the observer, I’m allowed into other people’s world in the few seconds of capturing an image, and that is an honor I carry with a tenderness that can be dedicated only to art.
In the presence of art and time ; I'm home.
