Adeokun, Adesegun is a Nigerian documentary photographer/photojournalist and videographer based in Abuja, Nigeria. His works revolves around areas he is passionate about, viz; social issues, environmental issues, and cultural issues. Marrying his passion and skill, he has made remarkable strides thus stories such as "the resilient spirit of the average Nigerian", "Climate change", "In a Man's World", to mention a few.
He started photography professionally in 2017 and in 2019 had his work was featured in the Abuja PhotoFest. He again had his work exhibited during the celebration of the World International Photography Day, and in 2020, his work was selected to be exhibited at "Photocarrefour Africa".
Adesegun has been privileged to work with notable NGOs like Dream Sport Africa, Leadership By Design, amongst others. And has been selected to attend some notable workshops, such as the annual "Abuja Photo Festival Workshop" "FotoDokumentar by the Swedish Embassy" "Crafting a compelling Photo Essay by Nowahala! Mag".
Asides photography, he devotes his time to heeding his passion and as such owns an NGO known as "Flashes of Hope Foundation", an NGO which he started with the help of few colleagues of his. The NGO is driven by a primary objective of getting underprivileged children back to school and a plausible number of 30 pupils have been imparted.
