Photographer & Cinematographer, b. 1966 the Netherlands. Award-winning photojournalist working for international magazines. Director of Photography (DOP) for documentary films, and cameraman for news-broadcasters.
Recipient of the International Center of Photography's Infinity Award in Photojournalism, a World Press Photo award, the SIlver Camera, Photojournalist of the Year (2x), and PhotoEspana Book of the Year, among 12 other photo-book awards.
Author of 'Why Mister, Why?' and 'Baghdad Calling', photo-books about the American-led war in Iraq. Photo and multimedia exhibitions at the Dutch Photo Museum, Rencontres d'Arles, the Barbican Art Gallery in London, among many others.
