Vanessa Peterson (b. 1991) is a first-generation British-Ghanaian photographer, writer and museum professional with an interest in Africa, the diaspora, the social impact of architecture and the concept of belonging and memory. In 2014, she was shortlisted for Magnum Photos’ 30 Under 30 Documentary Prize. Her work has been exhibited and published in London, Venice, Copenhagen and Accra. She exhibited her photo story "Folkland" at the 2015 Venice Biennale with the Invisible Borders Trans-African Photography Project.
