Marlena Waldthausen is a documentary photographer based in Berlin, Germany.
After studying `Regional Studies of Latin America´ in Cologne and Buenos Aires and `Photojournalism and Documentary Photography´ in Hanover she spent two years in Amsterdam working on assignment around the world for the Dutch newspaper `De Volkskrant´
Besides assignments Marlena works on personal long term projects. Her personal work has been awarded, exhibited and published internationally.
