Documentary photographer & videographer.
Mexican-born photographer who’s now based in Ecuador, graduated in Social Communication in Mexico and Photojournalism in Argentina; she has participated in several workshops with renowned photographers of the international scene. Her work has been aimed at the world of sports, travel and documentary, publishing in various media including Smithsonian Journeys (USA), Vanity Fair on Travel (UK), Sports Illustrated (USA), and books like Hake the future for Facebook Latin America. She often travels within Ecuador and Latin America, photographing everyday life for both media and foundations/organizations. She has been jury of POYLatam and Fotoperiodismo por la Paz “Juan Antonio Serrano” awards. Yolanda is a contributor to Everyday Latin America.
