Yuki Iwamura is a freelance photographer based in New York and originally born and raised in Nagano, Japan.
After he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to study Sociology, he also began his career as a photojournalist for Japanese newspapers as well as its college newspaper.
While he works as a freelance photographer, he also travels around the world to produce stories. He's currently working on a story about aging and death from his hometown, Nagano, Japan.
He is a recent graduate of the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography in New York.
