Boston, MA, USA
I’m a visual journalist in Boston, MA. I currently work as the Multimedia Coordinator at Partners In Health. Previously, I worked as a freelance photographer and videographer after receiving a BFA in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2015 and an AAS in Visual Communications from Monroe Community College in 2012.
Growing up in socioeconomically divided Rochester, NY was one of many things that fueled my desire to build cultural understanding and community discussion through documentary work. Adaptability, empathy, and patience help me work more intimately and, as an editor, advocate for photography that upholds subject dignity. I’m passionate about issues including addiction, mental health, and social inequality. When not using photography as a tool for social justice, I enjoy cycling, music, and a good laugh.
