Hamzeh Zahran (born 1989, Amman, Jordan) is a Jordanian-American lens-based artist.
His work has been exhibited at Filter Space in Chicago, the Vermont Center for Photography, Cornell University's Bibliowicz Family Gallery, and Fotofestival Lenzburg in Switzerland. His photographs have appeared in Vogue Italia, L'Œil de la Photographie, Complex MENA, and F-Stop Magazine, and been featured by the International Center of Photography. His artist book Remains is held in the collection of the San Francisco Public Library.
His projects include Remains (2025), a black-and-white series made during a return to Amman, confronting the feeling of being an outsider in a place that was once home, published as a limited edition of 50; Offering (2023–2025), six hand-altered archival prints of his mother in her prayer garment; In Search of Thule (2021–ongoing), a color series using the mythological land beyond the known world as a frame for questions of place, home, and what lies just out of reach; and i know, an immersive installation papered in American newspaper clippings exploring the split interior of diaspora.
Zahran is currently pursuing an MFA in Art and Media at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Remains (2025) - From ancient statues at the Amman Citadel to the spray-paint tags on the walls of the city, I confront the feeling of being an outsider in my own homeland. Having left Jordan at nineteen and returned with the eyes of someone who has lived in the diaspora, I find myself navigating a space that no longer feels like mine. Each image is a piece of that disjointed relationship between past and present, family and self, home and the feeling of never fully being at home.
