Civelti started to interest in photography more than ten years ago, due to the influence of his brother, with the focus on learning the techniques of photography and revelation, later in 2008 , began his studies of Illustration at the School of Art and Design of Tarragona and, in 2016, finalized the studies of Artistic Photography, in the same school. Later, he studied documentary documentary about the proximity to the Institut Fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC) and later he studied the postgraduate course in Photography and Editorial Design at EINA.
Since 2010 he has participated in several collective exhibitions such as the first Biennial of the Port of Tarragona held in 2013 or the photo contest "Albert Itúrria" of Vila-secael 2014, which was the third classified. In addition, from 2008, the Mènsula studio works as a creator.
The work of Albert Cilveti consists mainly of analog photographs in white inegre, although color also works. Show these features through individual desires and photographs. Quetracta genres are diverse, although we observe a strong interest in photoreporting and documentary photography, where it shows us the most emotional part of their work through accused compositions in order to create escuras and forced perspectives that increase this dramatic element. These works contrast with the images of architectural spaces, where a composition is much more geometric and close to minimalism, which usually seeks the anecdote and the formal beauty in the spaces reduced, public oppressed, in the details and corners. Finally, it is also worth highlighting the landscape photography, in which there are no large spaces, but continue with the characteristimist that prevails in the rest of the work, as well as the concern for the anecdote, represented from the different elements that make up the image, which hide a certain mystery that evokes stories of the past.
